Resolution of Approval <br /> PURPOSE: To review and approve the Williams Glen Major Subdivision Preliminary Plat application <br /> for the property with Parcel Identification Number 9883-09-8108, immediately east of Lawrence <br /> Road, in accordance with the provisions of Section 2.15 and Article 7 of the Unified Development <br /> Ordinance (UDO). <br /> BACKGROUND: An application for a Major Subdivision Flexible Development Preliminary Plat was <br /> received, proposing a 15-lot subdivision with 35% open space. <br /> Review Process: A Major Subdivision application requires the submission of a concept plan, a <br /> preliminary plat, and other documents, in accordance with Section 2.15 of the UDO. <br /> • First Action — Onsite visit with the Planning Director. <br /> Staff Comment — The onsite visit occurred on January 8, 2024. <br /> • Second Action — The applicant holds a Neighborhood Information Meeting (NIM). <br /> Staff Comment: The NIM was held on February 13, 2024, at 5:45 p.m. at the Orange <br /> County Public Library. <br /> • Third Action - The Planning Board reviews and takes action on the Preliminary Plat <br /> application. <br /> Staff Comment: The Planning Board reviewed the Preliminary Plat application at its <br /> regular meeting on April 3, 2024, and voted 8-1 to recommend approval of the <br /> Preliminary Plat. <br /> The Preliminary Plat application was presented at the February 15, 2024 <br /> Development Advisory Committee (DAC) meeting. DAC comments are contained in <br /> Attachment 4. <br />
