The Carrboro Board of Aldermen adopted a Resolution <br />Requesting Appointments to the Carrboro Planning Board (see attached) in which the <br />appointment of Mr, David Clinton is requested. The Resolution was received in the Clerk's office <br />on March 12, 2004. <br />It is a statutory requirement that the BOCC make an appointment to a Carrboro Planning Board <br />ETJ and/or Transition Area position within 90 days after receiving such a Resolution; otherwise, <br />the Carrboro Board of Aldermen may make this appointment. The deadline for the BOCC to <br />make these appointments is June 10, 2004. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: None, <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider making one appointment to the Carrboro Planning Board: <br />as the BOCC may decide. <br />
