Additionally, I
have a lot of experience in the education space with early childhood education and juvenile
justice. I also served on the 2016 bond committee.
Please explain your reasons for wanting to serve on this board
I believe this bond is incredibly important for our community and students. While it is not going to
solve all of our need it will make a large dent in it. My experience in community engagement and
voter education would be a huge benefit to the committee.
How would your particpation on this board contribute to the diversity of viewpoints?
Given the roles I have held will promote the perspectives of our BIPOC community, residents
who have deep connections to our schools, and ensure resident representation for Northern
Orange, which has school buildings that are some of the oldest in Orange County.
Do you have any personal or business interest(s)that could create a conflict of interest
(either real or perceived) if you are appointed to this board?
