I am also an admin/founder of a few influential <br /> local social media communities (around 13,000 members). Political science major back in the dayat Boston University. <br /> Have been very engaged with the school board topic and district the last 7yrs that I have lived <br /> here. A current SIT member and FB group admin for Chapel Hill Carrboro Mothers Club, <br /> CHCMC Parents of Teenagers, and CHHS Community. Over 13,000 members. <br /> I frequently engage with community and school board members to discuss topics. <br /> Please explain your reasons for wanting to serve on this board <br /> Please see above <br /> How would your particpation on this board contribute to the diversity of viewpoints? <br /> I am a middle-class white mother who cares about being involved in the community school <br /> discussion and do not focus on how it might benefit or impact my child. My involvement has <br /> prioritized centering marginalized members of our community.
