SCOPE OF WORK: Dickson House Exterior Carpentry Repairs <br /> <br />General: Work will consist of making all necessary repairs to exterior stairs, access <br />ramp, porch post and floorboard required to place the exterior surfaces of the <br />Dickson House in good, sound condition in preparation for future exterior painting <br />by others. Wood will be primed with oil-based primer. <br /> <br />Materials: will use k-dat pressure treated for all stair stringer/risers and tread <br />repairs. Western red cedar may be used handrails/pickets. <br /> <br />PORCH west side <br />Replace deteriorated west side stairs, including stringers, trim risers, treads, and <br />posts to match existing <br /> <br />PORCH north side <br />Additional replacement of porch post beyond previous scope <br />Repair northeast corner porch post bottom and deteriorated floorboard. <br /> <br />ACCESS ramp west side <br />Custom mill and replace two upper segments and four lower segments of handrail <br />to match those that have deteriorated, and twenty pickets.
