Plan, which directs the Town to work to <br />reduce emissions attributed to Carrboro buildings by 80% by <br />2030. <br /> <br />The proposed educational display aligns with the Community <br />Integration section of the Community Climate Action Plan by <br />following recommendations to expand public partnerships for <br />climate action and engage the community through grassroots <br />efforts. The Town will commit to engaging a broad assemblage of <br />resources to have a thoughtful exhibit using a racial equity lens in <br />addition to engaging with a variety of knowledgeable individuals <br />and organizations during the development process to create <br />interpretive displays and educational signage that will engage the <br />community to learn more about the sustainable features of the 203 <br />Project building. <br /> <br />This project aligns with the goals of the Carrboro Comprehensive <br />Plan to achieve an 80% reduction in municipal emissions of 2010 <br />levels by 2030 by incorporating energy efficiency measures and <br />renewable energy generation into Town Buildings.
