Project Name: 203 Project Solar Photovoltaic Array and Educational Display <br />7. (100-300 words) <br />In 2016, the Town began actively exploring development of the <br />existing parking lot at 203 S. Greensboro Street in response to a <br />request from Orange County to construct a new location for the <br />Orange County Southern Branch Library. The Town worked to <br />complete a study of facility conditions and future space needs and <br />identified an interest in building new space for Town and related <br />uses. In 2017, the Town of Carrboro and Orange County entered <br />into a Development Agreement related to design, permitting, and <br />construction of a building and associated parking known as the 203 <br />Project to provide for the Town of Carrboro Recreation and Parks <br />Program, Orange County Southern Branch Library, Orange County <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: 08DD74BE-CE96-4D90-9C72-8BD18C25E2E7
