Tier Approach to CIP ~~ <br />Criteria That Defines an Individual Project's Tier <br />The chart below outlines a "tiered approval approach" that the Board might <br />consider as it approves the 2003-13 Capital Investment Plan.. <br /> a) Project's overall scope of work is defined <br /> b) BOCG has formally approved the project <br />° c) Funding sources may or may not be fully identified <br />.'~ d) Critical external and/or internal timelines drive project <br />° development, Examples include: <br />E co o School projects that are required to satisfy Schools <br />a~ Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance elements (based on <br />.~ `o ' student membership projections) <br />m m o New project replaces a leased facility that has a defined <br />.- .~ 3 expiration date such as the Ghapel Hill and Central <br />~ ~ _° Orange Senior Centers <br />N o <br /> a) Project's scope of work is not fully defined <br />o ° <br />° '= b) BOCC has not formally approved the project <br />° <br />o ~ <br />c) Funding sources may or may not be fully identified <br />w <br />~ d) Critical external and/or internal timelines drive project <br />rn <br />•°' ° -~ development.
