Revised 01/24 <br />3 <br />approved total project cost. All activity of the Provider with respect to these <br />matters shall constitute Basic Services and shall be performed by the Provider <br />without additional compensation. If negotiation and design adjustments fail to <br />bring costs within the total project cost the County may reject all bids and <br />Provider will redesign or reduce portions of the project in an effort to reduce the <br />bid prices to within the total project cost and rebid the project. One such redesign <br />is included within Basic Services. If this second letting for bids does not produce <br />bids that are within the approved total project cost initially or after negotiations <br />with the contractor the cost is not reduced to an amount within the total project <br />cost, the Provider is not obligated to engage in further redesign. <br /> <br />3. Basic Services <br /> <br />a. Basic Services. The Services to be rendered pursuant to this Agreement are as follows <br />(fully describe services to be provided): <br />b. WorkSTEPS provides it testing services to the County through a licensed network of <br />independent third-party providers and therefore the County acknowledges each licensed <br />provider utilized to provide County services will be treated as a party to this contract <br />with regard to payment for services rendered. All WorkSTEPS Providers who have <br />provided WorkSTEPS testing services to the County will be compensated within thirty <br />(30) days of receipt of invoices. Basic Services provided in Attachement A. <br />c. Job Analyses. Job Analyses is the foundation of the COUNTY’S functional <br />employment testing program. A job analysis is a measurement of the physical demands <br />and requirements of the essential functions of a specific job. Accurate and current job <br />analyses are the COUNTY’S responsibility. Job Specific Authorization Forms that <br />document essential function requirements must be executed by COUNTY’S <br />representative and provided to WorkSTEPS before testing can begin. COUNTY <br />managers should use professionals experienced in assisting with job analyses or other <br />trained and certified ergonomic assessment specialists to assist in the preparation of job <br />analyses and documentation of essential functions. The job analyses should be based on <br />a close, careful examination of the specific job by an individual trained and competent in <br />making the physical measurements of the essential functions of the specific job. The job <br />analysis provides specific job content validity to COUNTY’s functional employment <br />testing program, which seeks to simulate the specific physical demands necessary to <br />perform essential job functions. Accurate and up-to-date job analyses help ensure that <br />employment decisions are based on objective, sound, individual, and job specific <br />information. Likewise, accurate and up-to-date job analyses helps ensure that no <br />individual or group of individuals is discriminated against. COUNTY agrees to enter <br />into an agreement in the form attached hereto as Exhibit “1” with the Analyst that will <br />perform the job analysis. <br /> <br />4. Duration of Services <br /> <br />a. Term. The term of this Agreement shall be from February 5, 2024 to June 30, 2025. <br /> <br />b.
