Orange County <br />Club Nova provides for the safety and welfare of Orange County residents living with serious mental illness. We are making a significant impact on creating, preserving, and protecting our natural environment. Carrboro and Chapel Hill Our current project includes implementing the following action plan items: <br />Plant-based local diet <br />Food waste reduction plan Composting <br />Growing our own vegetables and herbs Purchasing locally Recycling <br />Utilizing reusable products – Cloth napkins – Limiting items with one time use <br />Overarching is our plan to Accelerate / Expand Organic Waste Collection / Composting Capturing and reusing rainwater Accelerate our movement away from animal agriculture and toward a more plant-based diet.
