These items shall <br /> have full force and effect as the Contract Documents, and cost involved shall be included in the bid <br /> prices. Bids, to be submitted on the specified date, shall be based on the additions and revisions listed <br /> herein. <br /> Acknowledge receipt of the Addendum by checking its number on the appropriate page of the bid <br /> form. Failure to do so may subject the bidder to disqualification. <br /> Clarifications/Additions to Documents: <br /> 1. The following information shall be revised: <br /> For this project, the following calendar days shall be utilized: Substantial completion - 120 <br /> days from Notice to Proceed and Final Completion —4-98 150 days from Notice to Proceed. <br /> Liquidated damages shall be $500 per day in excess of the completion deadlines listed. <br /> 2. Reminder: The bid date has been revised to Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 2:00 PM(EST) <br /> at Orange County Solid Waste Operations Center, 1207 Eubanks Road, Chapel Hill, <br /> North Carolina 27516. <br /> 3. Bid Item B.9 Gravel Paving Quantity has been revised. A revised Form of Proposal is <br /> attached. <br /> Questions: <br /> 1. Do pipe outlets to rip rap require a flare end section? Answer: Yes, pipe outlets for both sites <br /> require flared end sections. <br />
