These items shall <br /> have full force and effect as the Contract Documents, and cost involved shall be included in the bid <br /> prices. Bids, to be submitted on the specified date, shall be based on the additions and revisions listed <br /> herein. <br /> Acknowledge receipt of the Addendum by checking its number on the appropriate page of the bid <br /> form. Failure to do so may subject the bidder to disqualification. <br /> Clarifications/Additions to Documents: <br /> 1. The address of the bid opening location has been corrected to the following: <br /> Orange County Solid Waste Operations Center <br /> 1207 Eubanks Road <br /> Chapel Hill, North Carolina 27516 <br /> 2. The following information shall be added to the Information to Bidders, Time of Completion <br /> and Liquidated Damages Section and considered part of the contract documents: <br /> For this project, the following calendar days shall be utilized: Substantial completion - <br /> 120 days from Notice to Proceed and Final Completion — 180 days from Notice to <br /> Proceed. Liquidated damages shall be $500 per day in excess of the completion <br /> deadlines listed. <br /> 3. Clarification on Drawings: <br /> a. Sheets C1.0 and C2.0 apply to both project sites. <br /> b. Sheets C3.0 and C4.0 apply to the Walnut Grove site. <br /> c. Sheet C5.0 applies to the Eubanks Road site. <br /> 4. Drawing C3.0: There is an existing subsurface area light electrical feed and a 2" PVC septic <br /> force main within the work area. See the attached Revised Drawing Set. <br /> 5. The gravel repair area for the Eubanks Road site has been enlarged to encompass recent <br /> additional erosion. See the attached Revised Drawing Set and revised Form of Proposal. <br />
