The <br /> geotextile shall not be exposed to sunlight for more than 15 days unless otherwise <br /> specified and guaranteed in writing by the geotextile manufacturer. <br /> PART 3 - PACKAGING <br /> A. The geotextile shall be uniformly rolled onto a core, and shall be wrapped in plastic to <br /> protect the material from moisture and damage during shipment. Protective wrapping <br /> shall be left on the geotextile until installation. Rolls shall be externally tagged for easy <br /> field identification. External tagging shall include the following: <br /> 1. Name of Manufacturer <br /> 2. Product Type <br /> 3. Product Grade <br /> 4. Lot Number <br /> 5. Physical Dimensions (length, width &weight) <br /> B. The geotextile shall not be exposed to sunlight for more than 15 days unless otherwise <br /> specified and guaranteed in writing by the geotextile manufacturer. <br /> PART 4 - EXECUTION <br /> 1.1 Placement <br /> A. Geotextile shall be placed smoothly and in direct contact with the underlying medium. <br /> Excessive wrinkles shall not be acceptable. Tears shall be patched. Equipment shall never <br /> be run directly on the geotextile. <br /> 1.2 Seaming <br /> A.
