The <br />purpose of this week is to recognize and celebrate the efforts of volunteers at the local, state <br />and national levels, The theme for National Volunteer Week 2004 will be "Volunteers Inspire by <br />Example", <br />During the month of April, County Commissioners will show their appreciation for all the time <br />and effort volunteers who serve on County advisory boards and commissions give to Orange <br />County by presenting each volunteer with a gift, an insulated picnic cooler tote with the seal of <br />Orange County printed thereon. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: An allocation for recognition of volunteers is included in the BOCC <br />2003-2004 fiscal year budget. <br />RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the resolution <br />of appreciation and authorize the Chair to sign. <br />
