Various divisions of the Orange County Health Department have received notification of <br />additional State funds to be awarded in the current fiscal year: <br />a, The Orange County Division of Environmental Health has received an additional <br />$7,520 in Food and Lodging inspection revenues. The division will use these fees <br />to offset casts of providing inspection services at food and lodging establishments <br />throughout the County, <br />b. The North Carolina Division of Public Health has allocated funds to assist local <br />health departments in improving their capability to properly store and handle <br />vaccine. The Orange County Health department has received $2,259 and will use <br />these funds to purchase two refrigerators/freezers for storing vaccine. <br />c. The Family Planning division has received an additional one-time appropriation <br />from the State of North Carolina to offset costs associated with providing family <br />planning services, The division will use the additional funding of $9,125 to defray <br />the additional cast of contraceptives and pap smears. <br />
