My extensive <br /> experience in managing projects, facilitating communication, and driving operational efficiency <br /> aligns closely with the objectives of the committee to educate the public about the proposed <br /> $300 million school bond. <br /> Please explain your reasons for wanting to serve on this board <br /> By serving on the board would provide an opportunity to represent and advocate for the interests <br /> of BIPOC families, single parents, and children in the community. My unique perspective as a <br /> single mom and member of the BIPOC community I deem would bring valuable insights to the <br /> committee s discussions and decision-making processes.Also serving on the board I hope would <br /> offer me opportunities for personal growth, skill development, and networking. So I can expand I <br /> knowledge of education policy and practices, enhance my leadership and communication skills, <br /> and connect with other community leaders and stakeholders who share similar goals and values. <br /> How would your particpation on this board contribute to the diversity of viewpoints? <br /> My participation on the board would bring a diverse set of skills, knowledge, and perspectives to <br /> the committee. As a BIPOC mom and caregiver I offer a unique perspective on the challenges <br /> and opportunities facing parents and families in the community. My firsthand experience <br /> navigating the systems, accessing resources, and advocating for my children s needs informs <br /> the committee s discussions and decision-making process, leading to more informed and <br /> effective policies and programs. <br />
