41 <br /> Slide#45 <br /> Planning Board Recommendation <br /> Planning Board reviewed the rezoning application at its January 3,2024 <br /> meeting <br /> Voted 12-0 to recommend approval of the Statement of Consistency <br /> (Attachment 7)and the proposed Zoning Atlas Amendment(Attachment 9),as <br /> presented,with the exception of replacing Condition#5 with the condition <br /> described in the alternative access letter(Attachment 6),which states there <br /> will be ongoing collaboration between the applicant and County regardingthe <br /> access road to the property. <br /> ORANGE COUNTY <br /> NORTH CAROLINA <br /> Slide #46 <br /> Recommendation <br /> The Manager recommends the Board: <br /> 1. Conduct the public hearing and receive the Planning Board and <br /> staff recommendations and public comments; <br /> 2. Close the public hearing;and <br /> 3. Vote to Approve the Statement of Consistency(Attachment 7)and <br /> Zoning Atlas Amendments(Attachment9). <br /> OR <br /> Vote to Deny the Zoning Atlas Amendments,including <br /> statement as to why the application is not reasonable and/or not <br /> in the public interest,as detailed in the Statement of <br /> Inconsistency,(Attachment8). <br /> ORANGE COUNTY <br /> NORTH CAROLINA <br /> Chair Bedford asked about the boiler featured in one of the pictures. <br /> Craig Nishimoto said it was for heating. <br /> Chair Bedford asked if the other building has sides to it. <br /> Craig Nishimoto said it is like a shop where truck and machine repairs would take place. <br /> Chair Bedford asked how tall or big the wood pile can get or if they care. <br />
