Findings presented by Debby Hill (supporting document attached) <br /> i. In general, when there is conflict between the policies, the ASAB policy <br /> takes precedence. Any ASAB policy that we think should be changed will <br /> need to go to the BOCC <br /> ii. Advisory Board member term limits align with BOCC guidelines—Tara <br /> May(Deputy Clerk to the BOCC)keeps track of these and advises OCAS <br /> when member terms are done. <br /> iii. Action item created for Holly Pittman to let all board members know <br /> where they stand in their term(s) <br /> iv. Officer terms and term limits differ—BOCC stipulates 1 yr terms, with a <br /> maximum of 3 terms. ASAB stipulates 2 yr terms, with no maximum. <br /> v. Quorum of members necessary to conduct business should align with <br /> BOCC policy because it's more detailed <br /> vi. Member Meeting Absences—defer to BOCC policy of removal for <br /> missing 3 consecutive meetings or 25% of meetings within a 12 month <br /> period. <br /> vii. Orientation training of members—change the wording to reflect that <br /> orientation may be a video or powerpoint presentation and completed <br /> individually within 3 months of appointment. <br /> Based on the committee's presentation, ASAB voted on the following 3 proposals: <br /> Page 3 of 8 <br />
