52 <br /> Project Narrative <br /> Project Data <br /> The project site is located off of Jones Ferry Road.The parcel will be accessed by an existing <br /> gravel driveway.The project site is in the Cape Fear River Basin and the University Lake <br /> Protected Watershed. <br /> Site History <br /> The project site consists of forested area with an existing stream adjacent to the parcel.The site <br /> has rolling topography. Runoff drains southeasterly toward the edges of the property to <br /> streams and drainage draws. <br /> Project Description <br /> The project seeks to develop the property further with a proposed gravel drive and additional <br /> grave plots.The plots will be both open and within the existing forest. Forested plots will have <br /> limited disturbance and not be disturbed during construction. <br /> Quantifying Changes in Impervious Surface <br /> The project site is completely wooded except for the limits of the existing cemetery.The project <br /> proposes to add 30,000 SF of gravel area to the property.The majority of the work will be <br /> associated with the access drive that will be utilized to access the grave sites. <br /> Watershed Protection Overlay <br /> The project is within the University Lake Protected Watershed. <br /> Streams <br /> The parcel has a stream adjacent to south east boundary of the property. <br /> Floodplains <br /> The project site does not contain regulated floodplain areas per FEMA Panel 3710976700K. <br /> Applicable Requirements <br /> Peak Runoff Control Requirements <br /> The project drains to one point of analysis.The project will be subject to peak runoff control <br /> requirements of the 1 year storm. <br /> Project drainage leaves the site at one location. POI 1 is a concentrated point in the stream <br /> located at the southeasterly border of the property. Flow will enter the perennial channel in a <br /> distributed fashion. <br /> 1-Year Peak Flow <br /> The peak flow analysis will demonstrate that the post-development 1-year storm peak flow will <br /> not exceed a 10% increase in the pre-development 1-year storm peak flow based on <br /> predevelopment landcover conditions on site. <br />
