Seconded by Nathan Robinson.
VOTE: Unanimous.

AGENDA ITEM 6: REVIEW OF BOA ANNUAL WORKPLAN FOR 2024

Patrick Mallett: Some of you may remember last year, the Commissioners ask all the boards to file an annual report on what they
do,how they do it,any goals, objectives, obstacles, and then set forth a plan for the coming year. It outlines who's responsible for the
board, chair, and so on and so forth. This is a requirement from the Board of Commissioners. We file it and then they review it. The
short of it is that the Board of Adjustment is a quasi-judicial board, so we're following state law, state requirements, UDO
requirements, far less complicated than the Planning Board or other advisory boards.

Leon Meyers: When is that meeting Patrick? Do you know, off the top of your head?

Patrick Mallett: I want to say it's in perhaps earliest mid-January.

Leon Meyers: Somebody just let me know. I'll try to be available.

Patrick Mallett: Yes, I'll certainly make you aware of it.

Leon Meyers: Does this need approval by the board?

Patrick Mallett: No, it's something that staff does. I'm providing it to you so you're informed. We prepare it and then the chair
presents to the BOCC. The other things that I ticked off(on the report)were working towards over-arching county goals with regard
to transparency, open access, improvements to the rules of procedure, if need be; improvements to the statement of standing, if
need be, or forms, and that includes other peripheral things like making arrangements for translation and interpretation services for
what we do,and that's kind of across the board with our department. We're engaging with all the public,so that's the overview of that.
