Public water and sewer are both <br /> available on the property, and Hillsborough's newest water tower at UNC Hospital is <br /> located immediately adjacent to the property. Public Streets and major transit corridors <br /> surround the property, and it will be served by the newly constructed Fire and <br /> Emergency Services Station in Waterstone a half mile from the site. The UNC <br /> Hospital Complex is immediately adjacent to the property, and Stanback Middle <br /> School and New Hope Elementary School are less than a half mile away. Dan Jewell a <br /> prominent land planner is listed as an expert witness and will provide sworn testimony <br /> at the Board of Adjustments hearing as to the promotion of the public health, safety, <br /> and general welfare of the community as it relates to the proposed Special Use Permit <br /> modification. <br /> Response to (b). Martin Jarvis a principal of the appraisal firm of Stewart, Martin, and <br /> McCoy, LLC. Mr. Jarvis will give sworn testimony at the Board of Adjustments <br /> hearing that the proposed modification of the 1985 Woodsedge Special Use Permit, <br /> and the 1991 modification thereof will maintain or enhance the value of contiguous <br /> property. Mr. Jarvis is a State Certified Appraiser and his credentials and resume have <br /> been listed on the application. <br /> Response to (c). Exhibit C shows the Hillsborough <br /> and Central Orange County Coordinated Land Use Plan, and Exhibit M is a wide- <br /> angle view of the landmarks surrounding the site. Both Exhibits clearly show that the <br /> location and character of the use will be in harmony with the area and the use is in <br /> compliance with the Comprehensive Plan adopted by the Orange County <br /> Commissioners. Bob Chapman a land use expert will provide further sworn testimony <br /> as to the consistency and harmony with the surrounding area, and compliance with the <br /> Orange County Comprehensive Plan.
