78 <br /> Nest 54 Biological Inventory Report Orange County,N.C. <br /> 5.0 WATER RESOURCES <br /> Water resources within the PSA are located within the Cape Fear River Basin (United <br /> States Geological Survey [USGS] Hydrologic Unit Code [HUC] 03020002). Four streams <br /> were identified within the PSA (Table 6). The locations of these streams are shown on <br /> Figure 3. <br /> Table 6. Cane Creek Reservoir <br /> is a WS-II Water Supply Watershed. Both critical and protected portions of this watershed <br /> are within 1.0 mile of the PSA. The North Carolina 2022 Final 303(d) list of impaired <br /> waters identifies no waters within the PSA, or within 1.0 mile downstream of the PSA, as <br /> impaired. <br /> No open waters or non-stream surface waters (e.g., tributaries) were identified within the <br /> PSA. <br /> 6.0 REGULATORY CONSIDERATIONS <br /> 6.1 Clean Water Act Waters of the U.S. <br /> Four streams were identified within the PSA(Table 7). The locations of these streams are <br /> shown on Figure 3. All streams within the PSA have been designated as warm water <br /> streams for the purposes of stream mitigation. <br /> Table 7.
