24 <br /> Recreational Components <br /> Outside of the passive and temporary recreational use of open, natural spaces on <br /> the property, The Nest will not be offering formal or permanent, ongoing recreational <br /> activities or amenities as part of the lodging and event space operation; any recreational <br /> activities that would take place would be attendant to special events held at the property <br /> (including the renaissance fair), or on-site recreation initiated by visitors and guests, which <br /> activities would be only temporary in nature and will vary depending on the third-party <br /> event host. <br /> Development Schedule <br /> The Project is anticipated to proceed with permitting through the remainder of the <br /> 2023 calendar year with site work (including clearing, septic, abandonment of existing <br /> wells and drilling of new wells, completing roadwork and installation of electric meter) <br /> anticipated to occur in early spring 2024. The bathhouse and first 5 guest cabins are <br /> anticipated for construction in late summer 2024, and the remainder of the guest cabins <br /> completed by end of 2024. The construction of the community building is anticipated for <br /> 2025. <br /> Conclusion <br /> With an appreciation for the Property and its special character, and that of the <br /> neighboring properties, The Nest represents and agrees, by its signature to and <br /> submission of this Application, to fulfill the standards and requirements prescribed by the <br /> Orange County UDO for the requested Special Uses, and further, that there shall be no <br /> activity allowed on the premises that will have adverse effects on adjacent properties. The <br /> Nest and its stakeholders are excited for the opportunity to open its space to the <br /> enjoyment of others, and to create opportunities and experiences for others to learn, grow <br /> and find fulfillment. <br />
