From my understanding,the proposed western <br /> entrance (old farm road access) has better site distance compared to the eastern (existing) entrance. <br /> If it is preferred by NCDOT to utilitize one entrance for this site, could we just use the western <br /> entrance as the main ingress/egress?The gravel loop at the existing entrance could be utilized for <br /> emergency vehicle turn-around. <br /> Based on feedback from the client, major offsite roadway improvements (especially the median at <br /> the western entrance) would be a deal breaker for this project moving forward.
