The project is located <br /> within 20.2 acres of property at 6811 NC54 W. The request proposes <br /> development consisting of: <br /> ■ 20 cabins, a community building (4,620sf), a bathhouse (900 sf), and a <br /> community shelter (500sf), special events (annual renaissance fair, <br /> conferences, seminars, educational and vocational training, weddings, retreats, <br /> and similar assembly/community functions); and camping, active, and passive <br /> recreation. <br /> The Staff comments contained herein are based upon the submittal of a required <br /> Site Plan, dated April 26, 2022. These findings should not be interpreted as the <br /> Division's final analysis/approval of the proposed development. Soil and <br /> site evaluations have not been conducted by the Orange County Health <br /> Department, Environmental Health Division.
