In <br /> reviewing the information,below are some comments. <br /> The 2015 Triangle Area Rural Planning Organization (TARPO) Bicycle & Pedestrian Planning <br /> Framework was adopted by the TARPO Rural Transportation Advisory Committee (RTAC) on <br /> August 13, 2015. The plan includes a pedestrian trail described as the Mountains-to-Sea Trail <br /> (Hillsborough area to Alamance County line)running north-south. More detail can be seen in the <br /> plan document at: https://www.tgMo.org/2018/03/tgMo-regional-bicycle-and-pedestrian- <br /> planning-framework-2015/. <br /> The 2013 Orange County Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) also recommends the same <br /> Mountains-to-Sea pedestrian trail in the vicinity of the project site along with a bus route on NC <br /> 54 corridor. See the plan website for more detail: <br /> NCDOT: Integrated Mobility Division-Great Trails State Plan. <br /> Coordinate and consult with NCDOT — Integrated Mobility Division for the latest planned <br /> pedestrian trail and other existing and planned bicycle and pedestrian accommodations. <br /> The NC 54 Corridor Study recommends widening NC 54 to a 4-lane median divided facility with <br /> a Shared Use Path on one side.
