Others from HOSTA were expected to attend, but <br /> did not. <br /> This meeting provided an opportunity to introduce the Project to additional interested <br /> community members, including Ed Cockrell, Ben Miller and Max Miller, and to expand on <br /> questions, thoughts and concerns of those who were already aware of the Project and <br /> had attended the previous community meeting, in this case, Mr. Deprez. <br /> The meeting assumed a very casual and personal tenor where attendees spent <br /> approximately an hour in the Blawesome Farm workshop mingling over several small <br /> group discussions about the Project. Mr. Moffitt, Ms. Sorenson and the Colen's spent time <br /> separately introducing and discussing the Project and the vision for the Property to Mr. <br /> Cockrell and the Millers. Mr. Cockrell was very positive about the prospect of the Nest's <br /> vision and hopeful that given its proximity to the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, there <br /> would be opportunities for collaboration between the Church and The Nest. He even <br /> offered the Church's gathering space to the Nest and its affiliates as a space to convene <br /> their meetings and planning efforts while the Project is in its development stages. <br /> Likewise, the Miller's expressed positive intrigue about the idea of a community-oriented <br /> lodging option and retreat space. They recently acquired the Blue Dog Farm property and <br /> share a similar excitement about offering their farm property and operation to visitors to <br /> the area, which has a short-term rental component, as well.
