Construction Wastes: <br /> During the construction phase there are multiple options for recycling building materials. Regulated <br /> Recyclable Materials (clean wood waste, scrap metal and corrugated cardboard) generated in <br /> Orange County must be recycled. Although other materials are not required to be recycled, you are <br /> highly encouraged to do so. One of the best methods of recycling is to separate the materials on the <br /> jobsite. You may also combine materials for delivery to a certified recycling facility as long as <br /> the hauler is licensed with OCSW. <br /> © 1. Scrap Ordinance <br /> X No metal waste will be produced (proceed to # 2) <br /> Recycle at Orange County Landfill (no tip fee charged if kept separate) <br /> Segregated for hauling to scrap metal dealer <br /> Mixed with other waste and taken to Certified Commingled Recycling Facility <br /> 2. Clean Wood Wastes (Clean wood wastes are required by Ordinance to be recycled) <br /> X No clean wood wastes will be produced (proceed to # 3) <br /> Recycle at Orange County Landfill (reduced tip fee charged if kept separate) <br /> Separated for private salvage or charity <br /> Mixed with other waste and taken to Certified Commingled Recycling Facility <br /> © 3. Corrugated Cardboard (Cardboard wastes are required by Ordinance to be recycled) <br /> No cardboard waste will be produced (proceed to # 4) <br /> Recycle at Orange County Landfill (no tip fee charged if kept separate) <br /> Segregated for hauling to paper recycling dealer <br /> X Mixed with other waste and taken to Certified Commingled Recycling Facility <br /> © - Bulk C&D • Ordinance <br /> regulatedrequires that the owner of any bulk C&D waste container that hauls any <br /> material(s) be licensed.
