<br />Mr. Lappala has over 49 years of professional consulting services in the Environmental and Water Resources
<br />fields. As a professional consultant, these services include:
<br />•Site investigations, flow and transport modeling, and design of remedial systems for contaminated sites,
<br />including risk-based solutions;
<br />•Permitting and compliance for land application systems for treated wastewater and biosolids;
<br />•Assessment, development and management of ground water and surface-water supply systems for
<br />agricultural, municipal, and industrial users; and
<br />•Peer review, litigation support and expert witness services in the areas of hydrogeology, contaminant
<br />transport, and waste site development.
<br />He has represented hundreds of clients in public hearings, regulatory agency meetings, court proceedings,
<br />and legislative committees. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (License 026990), a Certified Professional
<br />Hydrologist (License 319) with the American Institute of Hydrology, and a Certified Remedial Site Manger in
<br />North Carolina.
