In <br /> reviewing the information,below are some plan updates and recommendations. <br /> The Durham-Chapel Hill-Carrboro Metropolitan Planning Organization (DCHC MPO) adopted <br /> their 2050 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) in February 2022. The MTP report, maps <br /> and Amendments are at the following DCHC MPO website: 2050 Metropolitan Transportation <br /> Plan I Durham Chapel Hill Carrboro MPO,NC(dchcmpo.orgj. <br /> The 2017 DCHC MPO Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) was adopted in 2017. The <br /> CTP report, maps and Amendments are at the NCDOT website http://tiMrl.com/DCHC-CTP. <br /> The CTP recommends improving Lawrence Road to have 4' wide paved shoulders. <br /> There are no projects in the current 2024-2033 State Transportation Improvement Program <br /> (STIP)in the project vicinity. <br /> Please continue to consult and coordinate with NCDOT, DCHC MPO and Orange County as you <br /> move forward with the proposed project.
