It also <br /> demonstrates to local, regional and State partners that the County, like NCDOT's Complete <br /> Streets, sees the road network as equitable for all travelers, not favoring one over the other, and <br /> acknowledges that a traveler throughout the course of their day will walk one place, ride another, <br /> drive to and from a third, and bike yet another. <br /> Mebane City Council Action — March 4, 2024 <br /> Unanimous approval: <br /> • Approval of: Goals, Objectives, and Recommendations of Segment A and the portion of <br /> Segment B extending from Segment A to Frazier Road as presented. <br /> • Endorsement of: Vision and Recommendations of the US 70 Multimodal Corridor Study <br /> outside of Mebane. <br /> Hillsborough Town Board of Commissioners' Action — March 25, 2024 <br /> Unanimous approval: <br /> • Approval of: Segments C, D, and F within Hillsborough Town Limits <br /> • Endorsement of: US 70 Multimodal Corridor outside Hillsborough <br /> Transportation Advisory Services Action — March 14, 2024 <br /> Unanimous Approval <br /> Orange Unified Transportation Board (OUTBoard) Action — April 15, 2024 <br /> Approval: 7-1 recommending BOCC approval of the Study (an excerpt from the draft meeting <br /> minutes with detail discussion is provided at Attachment 2). <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact at this time. Local approval of the study allows <br /> the County the opportunity to pursue State and Federal funding for transportation improvements <br /> along the corridor.
