'6RAFT 1 Cy Stober: Section 6.8 of the UDO allows for some impacts to the buffer with mitigation and that has, the staff review 2 has addressed that for that 430-foot stretch along the northern property line. If this were to be reviewed 3 administratively, we've found it to be sufficiently consistent with the ordinance requirements, but it is a deviation from 4 the general standard of 30 feet. 5 6 Nathan Robinson: Mm hmm. Okay, so that's when it says, "shall be modified to preserve the existing farm road," that's 7 the conversation that you were talking about right here? 8 9 Cy Stober: Yes, Mr. Robinson. 10 11 Nathan Robinson: Okay. 12 13 Bobby Tucker: And, I mean, when you, when you look at the, the proposed limits of disturbance, I mean, we are going 14 to far exceed the tree buffer on most of the property. Looking what's being preserved and where the active drain field is 15 probably going to be on the east side, you know, that's still going to be wooded. As well. 16 17 Beth Bronson: So, you're looking at the eastern drain field, not the center of the field? 18 19 Bobby Tucker: Yeah, that's sort of, I mean, at this point, we're kind of looking at tucking most of the active in the eastern 20 side, although, you know, there was maybe some discussion of creating kind of more of a grove and opening the center 21 area where you could put active. But, you know, it's sort of to be determined because we've not had the county been 22 out to verify the findings of the preliminary soils report, so we, I've just created enough area that should be adequate, 23 even if there are some areas that are thrown out for some reason, but in my experience—and I do a lot of onsite 24 wastewater design, I mean, we're should be fine. 25 26 Beth Bronson: And I could be confused about the process but NCDOT, as far as, like, your entrance and all of that has 27 approved the one entrance exit. There's no requirement for a second one? 28 29 Bobby Tucker: We were pushing for a second, and the fire marshal was pushing for two. DOT was not okay with the 30 existing entrance, which is where this hammerhead is shortened.
