Students then led trainings with fellow TRU Group members on subjects learned during the institute.. School-based Outreach TRU Group (OCS and CHCCS) developed a Tobacco 101 presentation to be implemented by peer educators in OCS and CHCCS middle schools. Members from Cedar Ridge High School used the presentation and other activities during the health fair at that school. Peer L^ducators Lead March 31s' "Kick Butts Dav" Activities in OCS and CHCCS Schools TRU Group peer educators led tobacco prevention education activities in Orange, Cedar Ridge, East Chapel Hill, and Chapel Hill High Schools as part of the national Kick Butts Day.. Over 1,000 students reached with anti-tobacco/tobacco-use prevention messages.
