Most recently, I was a recipient of the
Frankenthaler Climate Art Award for my video work addressing climate change. Currently, I
teach dance at Cary Academy and I film for the American Dance Festival during the summer.
Please explain your reasons for wanting to serve on this board
I wish to further be involved with the development of the art scene in Orange County. More
specifically, I would like to provide a voice for artists who typically perform live on stage.
How would your particpation on this board contribute to the diversity of viewpoints?
As a queer, hispanic, female artist who works with many art forms, I am confident I can provide a
strong voice to support communities that strive to embrace diversity.
Do you have any personal or business interest(s)that could create a conflict of interest
(either real or perceived) if you are appointed to this board?
