Late Application for Property Tax Exemption/Exclusion <br /> 13 The Board approved one (1) untimely application for exemption/exclusion from ad valorem <br /> 14 taxation for one (1) bill for the 2023 tax year. <br /> 15 e. Acceptance of NC 911 Board Portable Radio Grant and Approval of Budget Amendment <br /> 16 #6-A <br /> 17 The Board accepted a grant from the North Carolina 911 Board for the purchase of eleven (11) <br /> 18 portable radios for the Primary Public Safety Communications Center, and approval of Budget <br /> 19 Amendment#6-A to provide for the total reimbursable cost of the grant. <br /> 20 f. Procurement of Automated Fire-EMS Alerting System and Approval of Budget <br /> 21 Amendment #6-113 <br /> 22 The Board approved the purchase of an automated Fire/EMS alerting system for the County's <br /> 23 primary and backup Public Safety Communications Centers, and approval of Budget Amendment <br /> 24 #6-B to provide for the total cost of the system. <br /> 25 g. Approval of the Fire Protection and Emergency Services Agreement with the Town of <br /> 26 Carrboro <br /> 27 The Board approved the Fire Protection and Emergency Services Agreement with the Town of <br /> 28 Carrboro for the South Orange Fire Service District (the "District') as a County Service District <br /> 29 pursuant to Chapter 153A, Article 16 of the North Carolina General Statutes to provide fire <br /> 30 protection and other services as set forth in the Agreement. <br /> 31 h. Approval of the Fire Protection and Emergency Services Agreement with the Town of <br /> 32 Chapel Hill <br /> 33 The Board approved the Fire Protection and Emergency Services Agreement with the Town of <br /> 34 Chapel Hill for the Greater Chapel Hill Fire District (the "District') as a County Service District <br /> 35 pursuant to Chapter 153A, Article 16 of the North Carolina General Statutes to provide fire <br /> 36 protection and other services as set forth in the Agreement. <br /> 37 i. Orange County Creek Week 2024 Proclamation <br /> 38 The Board approved a proclamation declaring March 16-23, 2024, as "Orange County Creek <br /> 39 Week". <br /> 40 j.
