2 <br /> The fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race or <br /> color; religious or philosophical beliefs; sex, gender or sexual orientation; national <br /> origin or ethnic background; age; military service; disability; and familial, residential or <br /> economic status. <br /> Asset Management Services <br /> 3. The Asset Management Services Department requires an additional $7,000 in funds to <br /> purchase and install a storage building at the Robert & Pearl Seymour Center. This will <br /> ensure the proper storage of tables and chairs to ensure safety and fire code compliance. <br /> These expenses will be funded with a transfer from the County Capital reserves. <br /> SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: There are no Orange County Social Justice Goals associated <br /> with this item. <br /> Department of Health <br /> 4. The Health Department requests to amend the County Fee Schedule to include the new <br /> fees detailed in Attachment 2. These changes to the fee schedule do not affect revenues <br /> budgeted for FY 2023-24. The proposed new Personal Health Division fees are intended <br /> to cover the costs of new services provided. These fees were approved by the Board of <br /> Health in February 2024. <br /> 5. The Health Department has received $50,000 in funding from the University of North <br /> Carolina at Chapel Hill to participate in a study, called the Achieve Study, to demonstrate <br /> the impact of a new strategy on hypertension treatment in Maternal Health patients. This <br /> funding will be utilized for training, travel, and supplies.
