We replaced the burner <br />about 5 years ago. The honey comb style large desiccant wheel is the central and most critical component ( also the <br />most expensive component) of this system. Randy has stated that this would add at least 5 years of useful life to the <br />unit. <br /> <br />A new unit would be 125K plus crane and install labor so about $135K in total. However lead times are 12-14 months. <br />That would necessitate renting a unit for that period. The weekly cost is $5K. Monthly rates can be negotiated at $15K. <br />The total rental cost would exceed the cost of a new unit.
