Our Earth Ministry team has engaged with other faith <br />communities in all the four counties from which we draw <br />membership to conduct programs around Binkley’s comprehensive <br />waste-diversion initiative, helped organize and lead two interfaith <br />Earth Care organizations in the Triangle that engage in climate <br />change awareness and climate justice programs across Wake, <br />Durham, Orange, and Chatham Counties. <br /> <br />More specifically to Carrboro, Chapel Hill, and Orange County, <br />members of the Earth Ministry Team have been active in providing <br />input in crafting their climate action plans as they were being <br />formulated by the different jurisdictions. We have had direct <br />contact and have been supportive of personnel who have led the <br />development of the Carrboro and Chapel Hill climate and <br />sustainability action plans.
