Development Advisory Committee <br /> Comments <br /> PURPOSE: To review and take action on a Major Subdivision Concept Plan and Preliminary Plat <br /> application for the property with Parcel Identification Number 9883-09-8108, immediately north of the <br /> intersection of Lawrence Road and Lannie Drive, in accordance with the provisions of Section 2.15 <br /> and Article 7 of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). <br /> BACKGROUND: Applications for both a Major Subdivision Concept Plan — Flexible Development, <br /> and a Preliminary Plat application for the same Flexible Development were received, proposing a 15- <br /> lot subdivision with 35% open space. <br /> Review Process: A Major Subdivision application requires the submission of a concept plan, a <br /> preliminary plat, and other documents, in accordance with Section 2.15 of the UDO. <br /> • First Action — Onsite visit with the Planning Director. <br /> Staff Comment— The onsite visit occurred on January 8, 2024. <br /> • Second Action — The applicant holds a Neighborhood Information Meeting (NIM) <br /> Staff Comment: The NIM was held on February 13, 2024, at 5:45 p.m. at the <br /> Orange County Public Library. <br /> • Third Action - The Planning Board reviews and takes action on the Concept Plan <br /> application approving Concept Plan - Flexible Development Plan. <br /> Staff Comment: The Planning Board will review the Concept Plan application at its <br /> regular meeting on April 3, 2024. <br /> The Concept Plan application was presented at the January 18 Development <br /> Advisory Committee (DAC) meeting and the Preliminary Plat application was <br /> presented at the February 15 DAC. DAC comments are contained in Attachment 5. <br />
