~~ <br />Continued Operation also requires constant review, supervision and participation in key <br />decision making with on-site management and ownership regarding the following: <br />• Quality of Programs Offered <br />• Quality of Overall Services at the Facility <br />• Staffing -both management and support <br />• Overall Financial Performance <br />• Revenue Analysis <br />• Expense Breakdown -Comparison and General Analysis <br />• Cash Control Procedures <br />• Forward Planning (Short term plan and Long term Strategic Plan) <br />Operating Procedures <br />By utilizing a local General Manager and specific staff with supervision from RFP we are able <br />to remain at arms length and objectively review each business.. Our corporate office is staffed <br />with seasoned professionals in all areas of facility management as follows: <br />o Pro Shops <br />o Maintenance <br />o Food Concessions <br />o Marketing <br />o Advertising <br />o Hockey Development <br />o Figure Skating Development <br />o Finance <br />o Chief Executive and Chief Operating functionality <br />These professionals constantly review the performance of the facility within their own areas of <br />expertise and provide corrective action and training as required. This provides for constant <br />evaluation at the operating level against the plan and operating budget as well as extensive <br />senior level support and guidance.. <br />This is the RFP formula that has provided success for other facilities in the recreation <br />business, It is a formula that spreads the accountability and risk amongst both on-site <br />management and central office and ensures that any staff turnover does not disntpt <br />operations at the facility and ensures continued future growth and success.. Turnover at <br />recreation facilities tends to be quite high when compared to most other industries due to the <br />both the seasonal nature of the sector and the extensive use of student and athlete labor.. <br />Our program anticipates this factor and allows for seamless continuation of operations. <br />RFP regards its primary role to act on behalf of and in the best interests of ownership, in <br />essence in a manner that the owners would themselves. We have industry core competence <br />and as the experts, view that role very seriously. We are therefore confident that RFP is the <br />best insurance ownership can provide to protect its significant investment in a unique and <br />specialized business. <br />
