9 <br /> • GOAL: ENSURE ECONOMIC SELF-SUFFICIENCY <br /> The creation and preservation of infrastructure, policies, programs and funding <br /> necessary for residents to provide shelter, food, clothing and medical care for <br /> themselves and their dependents. <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: There are no Orange County Environmental Responsibility Goal <br /> impacts associated with these items other than as noted otherwise above. <br /> FINANCIAL IMPACT: Financial impacts are included in the background information above. This <br /> budget amendment provides for the receipt of these additional funds in FY 2023-24 and increases <br /> the General Fund by $178,781, the County Capital Fund by $46,167, the School Capital Fund by <br /> $674,035, the County Capital Reserve Fund by $36,000, the Multi-Year Grants Fund by $44,958, <br /> the Community Development Fund by $353,684, the Visitor Bureau's Fund by $150,000 and the <br /> Article 46 Sales Tax Fund by $1,358,070. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board approve the budget, grant, and <br /> capital project ordinance amendments for Fiscal Year 2023-24. <br />
