3 <br /> Attachment 1 <br /> STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA AMENDMENT TO LEASE <br /> COUNTY OF ORANGE <br /> The lease between Orange County (hereinafter sometimes referred to as "County" and The Alliance for <br /> Historic Hillsborough, Inc. (hereinafter sometimes referred to as "Tenant") entered into on the day <br /> of , 20 , is hereby amended as follows, and all other provisions remain in effect unless <br /> expressly mentioned herein. In the event of a conflict between the original lease and this amendment <br /> the terms of this amendment shall be controlling. <br /> Paragraph 3. (a)The new Lease term shall commence on April 1, 2024, and shall expire at midnight on <br /> June 30, 2024. Thereafter with the mutual consent of the parties,the lease shall be extended in three <br /> year increments commencing on July 1, 2024, and ending at midnight on June 30, 2027. <br /> Paragraph 3.
