More affordable housing.
. Training space for EMS.
Explore freedom to roam legislation.
Improve the life expectancy by 8 years in the next 5 years is not achievable.
Objectives should focus on public health and preventive health services.
. She said it can be a safety issue.
Chair Bedford said it was not something the county was going to pursue.
Vice-Chair Greene said the legislation is something that comes from Europe and agreed
that it's not something that the county is going to pursue.
Vice-Chair Greene suggested changing the first objective on slide #13 to, "Improve harm
reduction, prevention, and support services for adults and children experiencing substance use
disorders and/or behavioral health issues and intellectual or developmental disability," doesn't
include adults and children experiencing substance use.
Commissioner Fowler said it was important to be specific.
