Tryon St. <br /> Hillsborough, NC 27278 <br /> Dear Laura: <br /> The Orange County Arts Commission (OCAC) Advisory Board has unanimously approved the <br /> recommendation of Heather Washburn to Position #7, expiring March 31, 2027. <br /> Our board aims to have voices from key local arts groups represented.Anita Mills has served as the <br /> liaison to the Orange County Artists Guild (OCAG) for the past six years but will be rotating off the board <br /> in March. Heather is on the OCAG board and will serve as our new liaison. In addition to her role as a <br /> visual artist, she is also the coordinator of the twice-annual Calico Makers Market in Carrboro and is <br /> connected with many local artists and makers in the community. <br /> On behalf of the OCAC Advisory Board,we greatly appreciate the commissioners' consideration of this <br /> appointment. <br /> Three board members first terms end March 31.
