36 <br /> Arts Alliance: <br /> ■ Provided scholarship assistance to any youth applicants during <br /> the 2023 Summer Camp season (15% of participants) <br /> ■ Expanded its LGBTQ Teen Arts Collective, provided life <br /> changing experiences for participants and their families <br /> • Diversity <br /> o The OCAC Arts Grants review process includes prioritizing of <br /> applications that hire artists of color. Sixty-seven percent of 2023-24 <br /> Grassroots Arts Program grants were allocated towards projects that <br /> fulfilled this goal. <br /> o The Eno Arts Mill artist studios maintained at minimum of 30% tenants <br /> who identified as a member of a marginalized community (currently <br /> 56% BIPOC and/or LGBTQ tenants) <br /> o The Eno Arts Mill created new programs geared towards lifting up and <br /> serving all voices, but specifically members of marginalized <br /> communities <br /> • Quality of Life <br /> o As the Designated County Partner with the North Carolina Arts <br /> Council, the OCAC uses the Grassroots Arts Program funds to provide <br /> high quality arts experiences to as many Orange County residents as <br /> possible. <br /> o All activities and programs offered by the OCAC are geared towards <br /> strengthening the creative community of Orange County.
