Welcome—Commissioner Jean Hamilton, Chair of Work Group <br /> Introduces group, and introduces Woolpert and Cooperative Strategies <br /> 2. Woolpert Inc. Status Update <br /> • David and Jessica provide status update. Provides powerpoint <br /> o Is working through the schools, has visited 13 so far. <br /> o Educational Adequacy assessment done for all schools. Geocoded all <br /> floorplans. Captured room type, size and Furnishings, Fixtures and <br /> Equipment(FF&E). <br /> o Met with internal stakeholders, applying weights to each space type. "Must <br /> have, nice to have, etc" <br /> o Provided timeline. Provide options in September, final recommendations in <br /> December. <br /> • Jean Asks:Timing for survey,how does consultant prepare questions with feedback <br /> from county/schools. Asks that Bonnie, Rani, Jean be included in the survey <br /> review. <br /> o Community Survey in July. Feedback will be provided by working group. <br /> Asks for recent questions surveyed from community. Survey provides <br /> prioritization info by school districts and by community at large. <br /> • Rani asks about the Educational Adequacy Assessment. <br /> o Educational Adequacy assesses the gap between the design against the <br /> educational needs. Both districts have noted lack of support spaces, <br /> especially in elementary schools. Also provide allocation of support spaces <br /> based on population. <br /> • Bonnie asks: Would consultant review that closets are being used as offices? <br />
