RES -2024 - 009 ; & e ; 2 /20/24 <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROVAL OF CROMEBOOK <br /> REPLACEMENTS FOR CHAPEL HILL -CARRBORO CITY SCHOOLS <br /> WHEREAS , the Chapel HilkCarrboro City Schools Board of Education seeks to <br /> replace its student Chromebook inventory through a five year lease to purchase <br /> agreement with Trafera , LLC , costing $ 1 , 147 , 114 annually ; and <br /> WHEREAS , North Carolina General Statute § 115C441 requires the Board of County <br /> Commissioners authorize continuing contracts for capital outlay through an approval <br /> resolution to ensure the district receives sufficient funds to fulfill the contract ; and <br /> WHEREAS , the County ' s Capital Investment Plan provides sufficient planned Article <br /> 46 funding for Chapel Hill - Carrboro City Schools to fulfill the contract ; <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that sufficient funds shall be appropriated and <br /> the Chapel HilkCarrboro City Schools Board of Education is authorized to enter in a <br /> contract with Trafera , LLC to replace its student Chromebook inventory . <br /> Adopted by the Orange County Board of Commissioners this 20t" day of February , <br /> 2024 . <br /> By : Attest . <br /> Jamezetta Bedford , Chair - Laura Jens n , lerk to the Board <br /> Orange County Board of Commissioners <br /> iz <br /> � z <br />
