8 <br /> FY 2025 ORANGE TRANSIT WORK PROGRAM <br /> r-o,® -n17 rl-." m <br /> A total of$12.7 million in expected local revenues is budgeted in the FY25 Work Program from the three funding sources <br /> available to the transit tax district, as provided in NC law.The largest source of funds is the half-cent local option sales tax. <br /> Administered by GoTriangle, the local sales tax went into effect in 2013. The total amount of expected revenue in FY25 <br /> from the half-cent sales tax for Orange County is $11.5 million. In addition to the half-cent sales tax, the FY25 <br /> Work Program has two other revenue sources. A portion of the $7 registration fee that is apportioned to Orange <br /> County is projected to generate $843,646 for FY25, ad the $3 county vehicle registration fee is expected to <br /> total,$363,596 in FY25. <br /> FY 2025 EXPENDITURES <br /> The expenditures described below are divided between operations(including administration), and capital. <br /> • Operating <br /> o FY 24 Adopted: $6,027,716 <br /> o FY 25 Submission: $6,632,798 <br /> • Capital <br /> o FY 24 Adopted: $9,850,421 <br /> o FY 25 Submission: $5,091,351 <br /> The FY25 Work Program continues all service enhancements from the 2022 Orange Transit Plan that have been funded in <br /> previous work programs, with no cuts to existing operations.These operations projects include additional service (above <br /> 2013 levels) on the following Orange Public Transit, Chapel Hill Transit, and GoTriangle routes: <br /> Demand Response W, Orange-Chapel Hill Connector <br /> Orange-Alamance Hillsborough Circulator <br /> Mobility-On-Demand <br /> CHT A CHT CM <br /> CHT CW CHT D <br /> CHT F CHT HS <br /> CHTJ CHT JS <br /> Route 400 Route 405 <br /> Route 800 ODX <br /> CRX <br /> 6 <br />
