This report includes updates on the following items: <br /> 1. Annual Water Quality and Wastewater Report Cards <br /> 2. Temporary Drinking Water Disinfection Changeover <br /> 3. Care to Share Program <br /> 4. PFAS Treatment and Monitoring <br /> 5. Drinking Water Service Line Inventory <br /> 6. Jordan Lake Western Intake Partnership <br /> 7. WSMPBA - Water and Sewer Management, Planning, and Boundary Agreement <br /> 8. Key Infrastructure Investments <br /> 9. Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Program <br /> 10. OWASA Board of Directors <br /> Annual Water Quality and Wastewater Report Cards: Every year, OWASA shares report cards with <br /> the community that detail our prior year's compliance with federal and state water quality and <br /> wastewater treatment rules. These reports include information to help customers understand <br /> how their drinking water and wastewater are managed, treated, and tested, and guide <br /> customers to further information on topics of interest. The 2023 report cards on wastewater <br /> and water quality will be available online at owasa.org on February 28 and March 21, <br /> respectively. OWASA customers will receive notice about the availability of these reports on <br /> their monthly bill. <br /> Temporary Drinking Water Disinfection Changeover: In our continued commitment to provide <br /> high-quality drinking water, OWASA will temporarily change our drinking water disinfection <br /> process during the month of March from the use of chloramines to the use of chlorine only. <br /> Customers may notice a change in taste or odor due to the use of chlorine, rather than <br /> 400 Jones Ferry Road,Carrboro,NC 27510 919-968-4421 info@owasa.org @OWASA_NC www.owasa.org <br />
