She suggested 40 the word "existence." She said she liked the word "critical," because "crisis" felt like an event like 41 a hurricane. She said that the word "crisis" can actually increase resistance to efforts. 42 Commissioner McKee said that was his thought as well. 43 Vice-Chair Greene said she felt that as leaders in the county, they should set the tone for 44 what is happening. 45 Commissioner Fowler said the words that are chosen are important. She said some words 46 can create pushback in the community. She said that climate action is a specific strategic priority. 47 Charline Kirongozi said having climate change as a strategic priority shows that resources 48 will be invested in action items to address it. 49 Commissioner Portie-Ascott said she liked the word "critical."
